About
The Practitioner
Carman is a holistic bodyworker offering trauma-informed, integrative massage grounded in presence, nervous system awareness, and listening-touch. His work creates a calm, attentive space where clients can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience meaningful release.
Carman is an incredibly strong and skillful therapist who brings both precision and intuition to his practice. Beyond his technical expertise, what truly sets him apart is his profound kindness and the genuine care he extends to everyone on his table. He cultivates a beautifully grounding, sacred energy in his sessions, creating a safe space where true release and healing can occur. I cannot recommend Carman highly enough to anyone seeking a restorative, deeply compassionate bodywork experience.

The Somatic Conversation
Working responsively with the body, Carman treats each session as a somatic conversation between practitioner and receiver, allowing treatment to unfold through attentive touch, breath awareness, and nervous system support. Rather than force healing to occur, he creates the conditions where the body can meet deep pressure and invite spaciousness and expansion from within.
Training And Practice
Carman holds a Diploma in Bodywork Therapy from the Vancouver School of Healing Arts (2025), with training in Shiatsu, myofascial techniques, deep tissue massage, reflexology, and body–mind integration. Supported by ongoing personal practices including yoga, somatic meditation, Qi Gong, and calisthenics — alongside an informed understanding of somatic psychology — he has cultivated a nuanced awareness of movement, balance, and energetic flow. This integrated foundation shapes the grounded confidence, intuitive precision, and attentive presence he brings to each session.
Carman's knowledge, attunement, and care show up in every session. He was a huge help in my recovery from a painful lower back injury, and working with him over time has continued to expand and deepen how I listen to, understand, and move in my own body.
